Director - Owner
Originally trained in aquaculture in Tasmania Australia, Peter has been involved with extrusion for over 20 years and has unparalleled experience in extrusion process, product development, food and feed research.
Having operated a pilot scale Wenger extrusion facility for his Auckland based family business EN Hutchinson Ltd since 1997, Peter produced a diverse range of extruded products for international clients including aquaculture feeds, agricultural feeds and pet foods, pharmaceuticals, biopolymers, plastics, breakfast cereals and snack foods to name a few.

Peter took on the role of Australian agent for Wenger Manufacturing Inc. in September 2012 and subsequently joined Wenger in an international sales role to assist in the development of aquafeed sector sales. Peter resigned from this position in 2016 to focus on his own business interests and continues to assist customers worldwide through his consulting business ENH Ltd, optimising extrusion processes, developing extruded feeds and training extruder operators, with emphasis on the aquaculture and pet food sectors.
Experienced in developing, commercialising and commissioning new projects, Peter delivers a key role in driving company direction, currently assisting various multinational extrusion-based operations, providing board level support with core capex and business strategy.
